The whole process from start to finish was extremely positive, I booked an appointment online for a day and time suitable for myself. Upon arrival to my appointment i was given the option of sitting in the waiting area or having a browse of the frames which I chose to do. Within less than 10 minutes I was in for my eye test with Lionel who was very pleasant and I felt he listened to me and I understood what he was explaining to me too. After the test was complete I selected my frames and also opted for some prescription sunglasses too. Once again the member of staff was extremely helpful although I had also taken a friend to help me select some frames. My prescription is quite high so the thinner lenses are a must really for myself. I was very impressed that the half price offer on additional glasses included the price of thinning too which is amazing value for money. I felt that I was given a good range of options and I walked away having ordered 3 new pairs of glasses, i felt I had got everything I wanted without being pressured into anything along the way. Finally came the day to collect my glasses (only 9 days from my appointment) and once again I was greeted by warm friendly staff and each pair of glasses was thoroughly checked to ensure a correct fit and just one slight adjustment was needed to one pair. It was quick, easy and straightforward. I was offered the glasses cover which I have purchased just to be on the safe side. Overall I couldn't recommend Boots opticians Meadowhall branch highly enough, it's well worth the 30 minute journey from home. I would urge anybody who hasn't used Boots opticians to give them a try.
