Optometrist seemed surprised that I had not been told I had a cataract following my visit in late December 2016. My eyesight had changed significantly in December meaning I bought reading and longsight glasses. These will be of no use after my cataract operation and I will need new glasses again. I was asked in December to visit again in 6 months hence my recent visit.
