I booked 3 appointments (My Son 11:35, My Daughter 12:00 and myself 12:05). We arrived at approx. 11:25 and were shown to the waiting area. My son was invited in and the staff were going to start the process, I advised them that he only needed to have drops put in as he had already been seen a few days earlier for the full test and we weren't able to stay a further 45 minutes at the previous appointment. We were then returned to the waiting area. He was then seen a while later and was advised that he needed glasses which we chose/ordered. My daughter was then seen and had tests and was advised that her prescription had changed and she should get glasses with the new prescription. I then asked when I was going to be seen and was surprised to hear that they didn't have an appointment for me so I showed them the confirmation emails for the appointments. They then said that they would see me and returned me back to the waiting area. My appointment was for "Eye test with free contact lens trial" I finally had the eye test and was told that my prescription had changed and I needed to order new glasses, I asked if it were possible to have new lenses put in my existing frames, they person that was looking after me didn't really want to help with this and advised all the reasons why not but it was possible so I asked how much, I was advised that about £90, I responded asking including the transition lenses, I was advised that this would be about another £70. As we had only put 3 hours on the car and had 10 minutes left I gave up. We were in the store for over 2½ hours and got nowhere. I had brought with me an old set of glasses as I had expected to upgrade my existing pair and my daughter would have ordered herself a pair of glasses. There seemed to be sufficient staff but no organisation. I am extremely disappointed with the level of service and unacceptable time that it took for 3 appointments that were pre-booked.
