My appointment was for my 12 year old daughter to have her annual eye check. All the staff were brilliant. The young lad who conducted the pre optician checks was funny and friendly and the optician, I think his name was Kevin? was patient, kind and explained what all the tests were for. I currently use Specsavers for my eye health but will definitely be coming to you from now on. And I'm not related to either of them!! Thanks for their/your fantastic customer service.

A proper online booking system would be better. I.e. with a confirmation at time of booking rather than having to wait for a response.

I have been seeing Michael Bunn for many years and find him to be an excellent, friendly and highly professional optometrist.

Michael always explains what he is doing and why and discusses any prescription changes. The staff in the Lion Yard branch are always friendly and helpful. Unusually, on this occasion I had to wait to see the optometrist, who apologised for keeping me waiting.

I booked this as a checkup for my contact lenses. I was unable to do that as the web site is dreadful. 1. The web site says eye test and contact lens check but when I turned up for my appointment I was told it was an either/or not both. 2. The web site makes no mention of the fact you need to have been wearing your contact lenses for at least 2 hours prior to the appointment. 3. I had no comeback from the web site - in the end I phoned up the central appointment booking service. They did not mention anything about wearing my contact lenses either!! In short the booking systems are somewhat shambolic. So now I have to book another appointment to have my contact lens check.
