Sharon visited me in regard to self catheterisation. She was extremely friendly and reassuring from the start. She introduced herself and her role in the healthcare system and spent time asking about my own circumstances. She then went on to explain how the urinary system works and what my symptoms could be attributed to. Sharon then completed some tests, explained self catheterisation and demonstrated the process. while constantly checking i was comfortable with the explanation and offering the chance for me to ask additional questions. She explained the next steps and provided me with all the information required to continue my treatment. Excellent knowledge care and bedside manner. Many Thanks.
Thank you for taking the time to write this review. I am so happy that I was able to help you and I hope you continue to do well
All of the above. New her subject and made it clear what the advantages and disadvantages were of different options. Made good use of display material and demonstrated and helped me to use the self catheter. Ensured I understood how things worked and what we were trying to achieve. Discussed my medication how it worked and on the basis of this discussion agreed a change.
Thank you for taking the time to write this review, I appreciate your response to the care I gave
With Sharon I feel totally in control of my own medical decisions. She is very caring and listens to any concerns and gives great advice on my care. She’s very professional but also friendly and I feel very relaxed with Sharon. I can not speak highly enough of her. I am not very confident with managing my condition but Sharon as helped me build confidence more and more. She’s excellent at her job.
Sharon Beale has been an absolute find from the outset! My mum has chronic urinary retention and the medical treatment plan was for intermittent catheterisation (as a long term catheter was deemed to be "intolerable" due to her Alzheimer's). Those tasked to do the intermittent catheters complained about having to do it from the outset and after a number of months of great stress and upset for my father and I in 2019 battling to keep this life saving procedure for my mum our GP found Sharon Beale to ask if she would train me to do the procedure in order for me to take over the intermittent catheter drains. She trained me in September 2019 and I have been doing my mum's catheter drains ever since and am proud to keep my mum alive every day by providing this procedure. Sharon has been there whenever needed for advice and assistance and to visit if required. So very grateful to have found Sharon Beale! Highly recommended!
Thank you so much for taking the time to write this review, I know how busy you are. You have been a great trainee and you manage mum condition very well, you are a star
