Being under Carol's care has been a very positive experience. She is clear, firm, and professional in her instructions and expectations from the start and I have really appreciated her attention to detail through her monitoring. Further below I wanted to highlight examples of how she has been an excellent nurse: 1) Communication: Carol is always quick to respond. In my experience Carol typically responds within a day. Carol is clear and concise in her messages. It is easy to understand what her instructions are and she is happy to follow up when I needed further clarification. 2) Care: It is clear that Carol really paid attention to my concerns and the results from my monitoring form. For example, she asked that I redo my blood pressure reading when I first submitted it as she noticed the figures were unusually high. She suggested using the blood pressure monitor 3 times to get used to the sensation as my anxiety might have led to inflated numbers which I found helpful. Another example is when she double-checked whether I had consumed caffeine after another submission (due to high BPM values) which she was right about, and further suggested caffeine-free beverages. Overall, Carol's attention to detail helped to mitigate some of the common issues associated with remote titration. Carol ensured that the medication worked for me. We worked through many solutions to find out which dose worked the best for my schedule that had the least side effects. And when there were side effects Carol made sure to suggest multiple solutions to them so I could determine what worked best for me. At the end of the titration, Carol provided further information and instructions to ensure that the transfer to my GP goes smoothly which was incredibly reassuring given my titration occurred during the national shortages. Overall, my experience with Carol has been excellent. I have felt listened to, cared for, and I feel like I have been taught enough to ensure that my post-titration process goes smoothly.
