I was diagnosed with ADHD in my late thirties after being misdiagnosed with depression and anxiety in my teens and twenties. I was very nervous about trying new medication. Although the usual titration period (time when you test the medication and adjust the dose) is around one month, Carol was very patient and helpful in giving me longer to find the correct level and the best times to take the medication.
I mainly used the online message system, which for me was convenient due to work constraints, but we also spoke by phone. I had some specific issues related to hormonal reactions and questions about varying the dose level. Carol was knowledgeable, clear and also kind when I raised these concerns. This compares favorably with my previous experiences with other medical professionals.
