It was good to have the support and the chance to ask questions and work on solutions to problems with fitting the bag. Because of COVID things were a bit disjointed at the start but Mandy did call when I was in the hospital to make an appointment. The appointment was for the Thursday but I came out on the Monday leaving me with no support for a few days. This gap was supposed to be filled by the district nurses but no referral was made by the QE hospital. It was a relief to see Mandy to clarify what the next steps were and receive reassurance.
