In our first meeting Katie was informative, respectful and engaging in her aim to get the best care for me. She showed empathy and understanding for the difficulties I discussed with her. She could admit when she did not know and showed a reassuring ability to ask the Consultant for guidance which helpfully changed my care plan.
My on going contact with Katie as a Special nurse has been very helpful as she goes out of her way to co-ordinate and liaise with other departments to get my problems resolved.
Its been very reassuring to have Katie as my Specialist nurse as she responds to my emails in a timely manner and offers guidance of the best way forward.
