Heather was very professional she was very nice

Heather Rohan is one of the most exceptional and dedicated professionals I have ever come across. She has been a sturdy support through two serious simultaneous cancer surgeries not only helping me with complex dressings, but the aftermath of sepsis and the pain, grief and fear associated with a changed reality. I am glad to say that I have come through with a positive diagnosis and no chemo or radiotherapy in the first year and with one final operation before I can hopefully live my life again. I could not have faced it without Heather who made close contact with my excellent surgeon and who was crisply up to date with all the tests I needs. Simply none better.

I have seen Heather on a number of occasions as both an inpatient and outpatient for wound care and recovery from surgery. On all occasions I have always felt at ease but more importantly looked after by someone who has great knowledge. Any questions or needs I have, Heather has always been contactable and responsive. She has always gone beyond her duty to ensure my overall hospital care has been great. When my family have had questions/concerns with my recovery, Heather has always listened and reassured them which is something I greatly appreciate.

The overall care from Heather was exceptional. She listened to every grievance and talked me through everything that was being done to me. The only issue I had was sometimes timings were a bit off.

Heather is one of the kindest and most caring healthcare professionals that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. As a result of her help and expertise, my surgery recovery has progressed as smoothly as I could have wished and Heather has been there the whole way, ensuring that I know exactly what is going on and how I, myself, can make changes to my lifestyle to accelerate healing. Therefore, her delivery of holistic care is exemplary. Throughout all of my visits, she has always delivered professional care, upholding the values of the NHS to the highest standard. She is an outstanding nurse and I am so grateful for all of her help!

I honestly have never had a better Nurse than Heather. She is warm, welcoming and helps you with everything you need, from the right support, urgent care or a shoulder to cry on. I always enjoy going to see her and walk out feeling confident I am getting the right treatment and care. Thank you for always making a difference Heather!! X

I have been seeing Heather since my emergency surgery in 2017. I cannot express in words how reassured and at ease I have felt with the way in which things have been dealt with in regards to my ongoing health issues. Heather is kind, compassionate and has a wonderful bedside manner. I always have a laugh and leave appointments feeling heard and taken care of. Thank you Heather... you are one in a million!

Heather was the registrar on the gastro team led by Mr Warren who looked after me during my two stays after surgery at ChelWest hospital in 2019 & 2020. She is always on point with advice and reassurance and ready to take the time to explain any medical queries and answer any questions you may have! Importantly she was the main point of contact for me at the hospital & with the surgery team for the year it took for me to recover from my first surgery and wait for the second surgery to complete my recovery. I can't thank her enough for the reassurance it gave me that there was someone there who was keeping an eye out for me and who was willing and able to keep me updated about when my final surgery could possibly take place. What with the first covid lockdown and the enormous pressure the NHS was under I really do feel very fortunate to have had my second surgery back in Nov 2020, when there was a small lull before the 2nd covid lockdown. Without Heather's backing and support I don't think I would of had my reversal operation in such a timely manner. Heather's expertise, communication skills, happy demeanour & approachability are a great asset to Chelwest and the NHS as a whole, what a Star....... in fact Five Stars! : )

Heather went above and beyond to ensure I was given the best care whilst at Chelsea & Westminster hospital. We first crossed paths because I urgently needed a scan and there was no time to wait for a porter. Heather, despite being senior, didn't hesitate to assist and wheel me down to the scanning room. She continued to be a breath of fresh air and her positivity and concern was such a boost to me during long and challenging days. On one occasion I was in a particularly bad way and Heather stayed hours beyond when her shift should have finished to ensure I was ok. Heather is a true star and I was so thrilled to benefit from her care.

Heather was nothing short of amazing. Her care compassion and ability to communicate complicated medical situations with clear speak and approachability. She is an amazing asset to the hospital and the NHS. She is funny and her energy is infectious. I was lucky to be treated by her. Heather I cannot thank you enough for being you!
