Having had exprerience of several hospitals from The Freeman, Castle Hill, St James, LGI, Scarborough/Whitby.... I rate the care and attention I get at York District Hospital as the best.

Overall I was quite satisfied but there were a few hairs on the floor near my bed and also in the shower room. The only problem with the nurses was that they didn't inform me when somebody would be back to see me, i.e. 10 minutes or 6 hours. It would be useful to give a rough timescale so I could have left the room for a while.
