Staying on the Kingston ward of Yeovil hospital made the experience a much easier one to go through. The staff were all wonderful and caring, the facilities and cleanliness first rate.
My initial entrance via a&e could have been smoother as unfortunately I had to stay in a corridor by the toilet for an hour or so before being admitted to a bay and did feel that information was not very forthcoming. The ambulance service were great though and ensured I had enough pain relief.
My consultant and surgeon were both excellent showing interest and compassion for my condition and making sure that I understood all that was going on.
Overall I would like to express my thanks to all the staff for looking after me with such quality care.
