The staff were attentive to potential needs I may have; but no particular care was required.
I attended Wythenshawe A & E department with my elderly, disabled mother. We were impressed by the courteous and efficient person on the reception desk and also by the caring and efficient approach of the medical staff. We were seen quickly and discharged with information about the next stage of the treatment.
The waiting area was clean and warm on this winter's night and I was pleased to see that there were vending machines giving some refreshments just in case of delays.
Thank you to all the staff.
I would like to point out though that I found it difficult to negotiate getting from the car park to the A & E department with a wheelchair. The disabled parking spaces were all taken so we had to use the car park nearby but it didn't seem to have a ramp from the car park to the pavement.
I have made very extensive comments in the earlier questions but I would like to stress the need to get Dr Lieberman the much needed equipment because under the old method of treatment this caused unnecessary stress which is not good for Dr Wythenshawe as well as the patient. I believe the time saved treating the patient could be reduced without lowering the standard of care. In my opinion it also would reduce stress on the patient of which have heart disease which is not desirable with unnecessary stress. The only side affect on my last visit was a husky voice and swelling in the throat for a short period. My spinal pain was not as great after the treatment in the usual manner. For Dr Lieberman to see inside the vascular system and throat structure was a massive bonus for us all! Thank you!
No improvements required by all the staff. My care was very good.
Very friendly and caring staff.
Very helpful and they make you feel at home. Nothing is too much trouble.
Everything was okay. Nothing to be improved.
The care was brilliant couldn't have been more great with me through my difficult time.
The staff were very polite, and very friendly. I could see they were doing their best even when they were really busy.
Caring, nothing too much trouble, well looked after. Wife too.
Since coming into hospital for my elective procedure, I have had absolutely brilliant care. I cannot fault it. The staff have all been lovely and attentive. I was in the admissions lounge, then the recovery room post-op, then ward A 2 and it's been fantastic.
