Although I collapsed after the mastectomy and had to have another operation the next day, I was treated quickly . The nurses did seem a bit short staffed, not always about when you needed them.
The only gripe I have is the food, having had two operations I was not eating much but for breakfast one morning I only asked for toast, this was only toasted on one side!
I also had a pasta meal which was inedible. Luckily I was not in hospital for very long.
I did have to go back several times to have my drain emptied and the staff were all quick and efficient.
