We attended A and E with my 9month grand daughter and her Mum on the 9/7/23 at 2am because the baby was persistently vomiting. The problem was worrying as she had had a fall the day before. The service we received was exemplary. The Paediatric A and E staff nurse was so kind, caring and reassuring. He accompanied us to the CT scan and helped us through the difficult and worrying next few hours. There were only 2 doctors working to cover the whole busy A and E department. The doctor gave us his time, he put us at ease and was so lovely with my grand daughter. Ahead took time to explain the concerns around the symptoms. He also consulted a senior Paediatric Registrar for his opinion and checked and reported back to us during the night. We are so very grateful for the expert, professional and caring staff from the A and E Receptionist to the Nurse, Doctor and Radiographer who looked after us. The doctor was Dr Issacs and the staff nurse’s name was John. We cannot praise you enough for the way you helped us.
