The care that I received in Downlands Suite in Worthing Hospital was excellent. The only problem that I had was nausea, vomiting and itching on my upper torso. On leaving hospital I was given 5 days supply of the antibiotic Trimethropine by the hospital pharmacist. Inside the box was a leaflet. This leaflet stated that a very common side effect was nausea, vomiting and itch. I had been given this antibiotic each day while I was recovering after the operation. Nobody had linked the possibility that the antibiotic could have caused the problems. This is not a criticism but a suggestion regarding the medication system.
