The Breast Clinic is a very new clean well-appointed building, purpose-built. Clean airy waiting area, slightly marred by the constant burble from the telly, which could have had the sound turned down and subtitles for those who wanted to watch it. There could be slightly clearer signage as you arrive too. We went to the wrong reception, which means the downstairs reception must be constantly redirecting people. Other than that, couldnt fault it.
The staff on this ward are brilliant, no complaints, all very friendly , after having a rather traumatic experience during my stay the staff did everything possible to reassure me after the event
Fantastic care from all of the team.
I was treated very well
Reduce waiting times, my son is 1 years old and was told we could be waiting up to 4 hours!! Open up a private a&e department like they have in London
Have staff members tell you the truth and not contradict what they say. When we were seen in triage for our son we were told the wait was 3 1/2 hours however she would get a doctor to see us within the hour. When the hour passed and my partner queried this the nurse denied saying it! Not great comms
Wonderful Hospital.
Poor service and long wait
I was seen yesterday at the West Sussex Breast Care Centre by Mr M Ostrowski. The appointment was on time and the consultant was warm, friendly, kind and caring and listened to my problems in a sympathetic way. He explained clearly and showed me diagrams of why certain pains were occuring. When asked about my current medication he came up with constructive observations and was very helpful in advising about future usage. I felt valued. He also made further recommendations regarding measuring and being fitted for new bras.
From the moment I entered the Chactonbury Suite the operation staff, recovery staff and discharges staff were the most attentive nurses and doctors and I cannot thank them enough.
I feel very lucky to have been treated in such a wonderful NHS hospital as Worthing
Great pain management by Inge Bateman got me on the road to recovery far faster than I had expected. Thank you Inge
