Went to the walk-in clinic as my son had fractured his wrist. We didn't have to wait too long, service and care was excellent. Returned the next day for an xray (xray department was closed the previous evening), again didn't have to wait long to have the xray, staff were friendly and helpful and then didn't have to wait long to see the nurse after. We saw the same nurse from the previous evening which was great continuity. Would highly recommend.
Management, for some obscure reason, have recently decided physiotherapy patients and rehab patients can no longer share the same spacious waiting area outside physio. department. Instead, waiting Rehab patients must now sit elsewhere with no booking-in service available for them. Doh!
Also, very backward thinking, closing adult audiology dept. at hospital - now it just provides audiology service for children. Woking adults don't have hearing loss then?!!
Adults now have to travel to either St Peter's or Guildford Royal Surrey for the service!
Another "good idea initiative" thought up on the back of a fag packet?!!
Staff are lovely, Management must do better.

I would give 5 / 5 overall and was extremely pleased by the service (and outcome) - despite some of the responses not achieving the 5 rating. Its always a problem with a one size fits all survey and will probably count as less than a 5* rating overall which is not intended. The centre was not able to make any diagnosis (it is a nurse lead practise without Doctors) but the nurse was very responsive and arranged a prompt consultation with a local doctor. I couldn't ask for more.
The wait was about 1½ hours which is not too bad for a non appointment walk-in service but this was clearly explained when registering. I would still have waited if it had been longer.
In summary, friendly and informative staff who provided a very good response. Whilst not able to provide the medical help they made sure the problem was not left unresolved.
Many thanks to the staff.
other than a 2 hour wait to be seen in the walk in centre staff were very apologetic and the matron on duty that saw me was very apologetic and was very happy and smiley
Pleased with my care
Parking was a problem - I got there early, but still had to queue 30 mins for a space (everyone there today moaned about the parking - it is a £100 fine if you park 'illegally'). Also, parking rates are ok, except if you spend more than 4 hours (£15+). Luckily I only had to wait nearly 3 hours (I expected a long wait, so this was not a problem for me) but I was sweating a bit thinking I would go into the £15+ parking fee zone.
