I rang 111 and the walk-in centre, aswell as speaking to a deputy sister who I know back home who all told me to go to the walk-in centre and be seen. I was spoken down to and patronised by the nurse who saw me, asking whether I had asked my mum to put elastoplast (something I’m allergic to) on my injury, which in itself is terrible advice and beyond unprofessional as she does not know my home life. She did not listen to any of my complaint, nor look at my injury, I have never felt so unsatisfied with a service. I then had to make my way to boots where the pharmacist agreed I had received appalling advice which would have led to a nasty infection. Do not waste your time. (I wish I had taken the name of the nurse)
