I am 85 years of age and following a fall I went to the Walk in centre for help. Like so many others I have often been too critical of the NHS but how wrong can you be?. The waiting room was very busy at the time but I was astounded when a nurse came and asked because of my age they were checking that I was well enough to wait my turn. When I was called to see the nurse Anne she made me feel totally at ease and following treatment with Xrays etc I left the centre feeling someone actually cared about making sure I was on the road to recovery. Thankyou Anne and the NHS.
