We expected a wait of one hour as advised when booking in; actual wait was two hours with no updates provided. The waiting area was bitterly cold and somewhat cramped; not ideal when you’re unwell. Toileting facilities were not very clean. Cans of drink were overpriced at £1.25 each. You have to pay for parking and it was difficult to find the pay machine. Our nurse practitioner made assumptions that were not correct, didn’t listen to us, did not take a person centred approach and wasn’t helpful. Final advice was to book a GP appointment (if we had been able to do that we wouldn’t have needed the walk in centre). A total waste of 3 hours when my son would have been better off tucked up in bed. Definitely needs lots of improvement. Wouldn’t visit again or recommend to anyone.
