Came into A and E with a severed and broken finger.
Expected to wait in A and E but was quite long bleeding and not sure what to do, kind helpful receptionist.
Once in A and E department everyone was lovely, kind quick and helpful.
Appointment to day surgery in 2 days, no idea what to expect and slight confusion over anaesthetic or local but great tea and sandwiches when decision made.
Long wait but worth it to get Mr Miller and team for surgery, and lovely Nurse Cheryl who help my other hand!
Just been back to fracture clinic (letters and calls to give information, so efficient)
Promised to give Nurse Scott Nelson a mention as he says no one ever does and he was kind and attentive and gentle.
Mr MacDonald pulled a pin out and couldn’t have been nicer or more efficient
!
There is so much bad press around the NHS and my experience was so very positive I really wanted to share it and say thank you to a great dedicated group of people.
