I gave birth at Whipps Cross ten days ago. It was a very protracted labour and complex delivery but I felt we received exceptional care, both physically and emotionally, throughout our stay there. Both doctors and midwives were caring and compassionate and kept us informed of our choices throughout. After our son had trouble latching we received huge support from the staff on the postnatal ward and the infant feeding specialist. The midwife who came on shift the day we went into surgery for a Caesarian was exceptional, and after a very traumatic time was able to offer us comfort and reassurance when we needed it most. We wouldn’t hesitate to have another baby there again in the future.
