Admitted for broken hip , given bed in gyno ward (!) with those who had suffered miscarriages. Seems not enough beds in wards. Unable to move well, fell asleep in chair unnoticed from dinner until nearly midnight when another patient called for nurse to move me into bed. This was during long severe heat-wave with no air conditioning, windows don't open much, thus dehydrated badly from this neglect which caused other severe health problems including heart attack . Fluid & food input not monitored. Finally moved into ortho ward after that but would have been better off in cardiac ward. In hospital for total 3 weeks which would have been one week with better monitoring. Ortho ward had an ant infestation and dementia patients. Resident Dr's & nurses kind but this system does not work! No follow-up from clinics after release but physio came to house for physical therapy 3 days for 3 weeks.
