I was treated with respect, empathy and reassurance whilst in cdu. All staff especially Josephine, Benjamin the nurses and mehrana and goran ali the doctors. They couldn't do enough for me and ensured they done there best to help me become pain free. You could just see that they are in the right job and have great care and respect especially there bedside manor. Even the lady ( didn't catch her name which is a shame ) ensured I was looked after with refreshments and my mum aswell was looked after. They all had a smile and had a joke with us which helped us feel at ease . These people are really under appreciated and working in care work myself I know how demanding and stressful it is they never seemed to stop and think about themselves. I wish all our hospitals and departments were the same we would have a much better nhs if these people were recognised to train the rest of the nhs staff as some are very miserable . Thankyou so much to whipps cross cdu. Although I dislike hospitals u made my time there stress free and comfortable . U truly are amazing . The only thing i felt was uncomfy was that I was there for 8 hours and 5 hours the previous evening and had no bed to lie on even tho I was in pain and uncomfy in a chair but that is not the staffs fault if no beds are there . I pay so kuch tax and NI every month and wasn't even allocated a bed which is wrong. Driving as I was in pain I just didn't want to make a fuss as it was not the staffs fault. Thank you again cdu a great team . X
