Arrived at 11.45 for blood test service which is advertised as being open until 13.00 but tickets had already been withdrawn. I queried with receptionist who advised talking to phlebotomists which I did, explaining that I really needed to get test done in readiness for a medication review. The two staff said they couldn’t issue any more tickets and once I had got upset said I could wait until they had seen everyone with a ticket and if that was before 13.00 then they would see me. There were approx 14 people waiting. So I waited until 12.45 by which time everyone had been seen and so I was seen. BTW, several people arrived and left having seen the notice saying no more tickets would be issued, but one couple also went along to see the phlebotomists and left with the woman in tears. Also, at least one person arrived well after me but just went in when a number was called bug no one went in (had obviously left without being seen due to queue). So, all in all, a very poor experience, plus the toilet floor was filthy, wet and covered in toilet tissues.
