The communication between staff needed a lot of improvement. My dad was called and asked to do different things by different doctors who then became frustrated with him, even though the problem was in their communication. For example, one nurse called him to take his blood, and another nurse called him to take his temperature/blood pressure but became frustrated with him for going to have his bloods taken. My dad was also told by one nurse that he could go out to make a phone call as he would not be called for a while; another nurse then told him off for going outside and almost missing his name being called. This was unfair on my dad because he was only following instruction. The staff need to communicate better between each other. This has happened on multiple visits to Whipps Cross A&E
