I have just taken my 14year old son for an appointment with the Orthoptist Jessica Cody. He has Down Syndrome and Autism.
She treated him in a delightful manner even though he was initially reluctant to enter the consultation room.
She was extremely patient with him and showed him respect giving him encouragement and praise for his cooperation.
Her efforts paid off with the most thorough assessment he has had for years.
Thank you for giving him the first appointment in the clinic as it helped enormously that he was not waiting prior to his appointment.
Everything was done professionally and in a very caring manner. The hospital meals were excellent and very good choice available.

I had a turps procedure done here 31st august [ ward 7 ]...and I was lucky enough to be given a private room .

This has happened before to my wife for an OP appt at the RLI
WGH is not busy and feels a very underused resource.
Friendly,caring,informative staff.
I have needed to use the Westmoreland General Hospital on many occasions during my retirement and used many of the departments. I have always been treated with kindness and courtesy and careful attention
