Returned home 3 weeks ago after having knee surgery. Nothing negative about this hospital. Staff was amazing from consultant, nursing team, physics and porters. Stayed on ward 7, I was treat with respect at all times, staff were there to help every step of the way. Everyone on the ward was looked after 100%. I chose to go to Lancaster for initial appointment and was very please to have operation in Kendal as my husband works in the town, visiting times are brilliant as any time during the day/evening just avoid meal times. Meals were very good, lots of choice and best sticky toffee pudding I have had in a long time. Senior nurse on ward 7 was wonderful and you could tell all staff respected her and each other. Well done ward 7 you all do an amazing job.
