The care that i received when i had my op on Tuesday was fantastic cannot faultit but i had a few things go wrong in my dealings with the Hospital during my accident. Firstly being forgotten by the ambulance service and left in the mud for 2hrs before they we chased up and actually sent to collect me by this time i was cold and tired and in lots of pain. when the ambulances turned up (three in the end) i cannot fault them they were fantastic and kept my spirits up and made me feel safe. on arrival at the hospital one of the ambulance men stayed with me by my side while everything was a bit of a panic and he really helped me stay calm he was fab ( i had no pulse in my foot so it was very serious and taking 3,5hrs to get to hospital didnt help that). I had emergency surgery the next day which went well i am now full of metal to fix me. The staff at the hospital do a fab job i think they let themselves down on the admin side as appointments were later and sent out wrong but i am on the mend now and only have appreciation for all the ambulance staff/nurses/consultants who helped me get back onto my road of recovery, i am not there yet but i will be. Many thanks :-)
