I fully support my local hospital, especially as I worked there many years ago.
However, the parking is a real issue. I am able to walk and ended up parking on the heath. What on earth is going on? the amount of cars parking is ridiculous - I really can't believe that it is necessary and there are so many many people parking there.
If I had not been able to park on the heath despite being 45 mins early for my appointment I would not have been able to attend. This must have an impact on patient numbers attending appointments. Not sure what the answer is. Perhaps an area for outpatient appointments segregated. visitors - separate places and staff (whilst I fully support them being able to park on site) more off-site parking particularly for administrative staff. Thanks
