Right from entering the building I was welcomed and made to feel comfortable. I was escorted to my private room wherei settled in. My designated nurse came and introduced herself to me and explained what would be happening. The anesthetist came and introduced himself and really made me feel at ease especially when he said he would be popping me off to sleep and looking after me. Mr Basem Muammar also came in to check I was OK and that he would see me in theatre and asked if I had any questions. I didn't have any as everything had been explained to me. A nurse then took me to theatre where I was put to sleep. When I woke up everything was done and I was taken back to my room. The nursing staff were brilliant and really caring. Nothing was too much trouble. Then it was time for my meals which I pre ordered before going to theatre. The meals were perfect. I would like to thank Mr Muammar for being such a brilliant surgeon and excellent aftercare.
