I was sent to A&E by my GP as an emergency. My wife brought me and walking with great difficulty from the car park two very kind workers got a porter for me who then took me to A&E. The receptionist was very efficient and asked the triage nurse to take my stats and then immediately took me to a cubicle. The staff although extremely busy were very attentive and expediently did all the tests required. I was then admitted to Elizabeth ward. The staff there were very kind, attentive and professional. I then had surgery and was moved to ICU. Again the staff was extremely kind attentive and professional. I then moved to Flounden B ward where the staff looked after me extremely well. They were friendly, attentive and professional. Throughout this whole experience I thought the care I received was excellent. Even the food which is often criticised was very good. I have nothing but praise and admiration for the work of everyone I met. I was discharged on 28 June 2022 and am making a very good recovery at home. My thanks to everyone. Michael Parker
