Took a long time to be admitted and was told that a vaginal examination was necessary for me to be admitted even though this is not true. Was kept in triage until 6cm dialated before being admitted. Asked for pain relief on 3 occasions and was given codeine which I threw up seconds later and it was therefore not effective. No staff available and a long wait for a room. Bluebell was closed.

Suggested improvements
Not insisting on vaginal examination to be admitted. Regular check ins from a midwife while in triage. Pain relief being offered sooner. More staff and rooms to be made available.
