Waited 3 hours from arrival to starting transfusion, no explanation given and no updates as to how long it would take for blood to arrive.
Suggested improvements
1. Speed up process from arrival to transfusion. Why can't the nurse do cannulas ? And take bloods?
2. Communication - keep patients informed of what is going on and any delays.
