My expectations were exceeded. From the beginning to end the highest standard was given to Me by all. All staff were brilliant providing great team work. The people at the very top shop be proud of them all they should receive highest wages possible. The staff make the hospital an A1 quality hospital in my opinion and my own experiences .

Already provided the highest possible quality .

Fab care. And on the first day I went to minor injuries.

All of the paramedics and staff in the A&E were lovely and treated me quickly

The only downside was the length of time my blood test results took to return from the lab

From my arrival in the minor injuries unit Everyone Involved in my care Drs/nurses/ X-ray was pleasant and kind . Gentle and caring and above all knowledgable and professional . Absolutely great care x

The only non positive was when I initially arrived at the A&E dept ….. I was in a great deal of pain and I was on my own while my husband went to park the car . …Before I could say anything the masked person behind the desk screen was very abrupt in Commanding me to wear a mask ! Then was quite put out that I started to talk at the wrong desk position and told me to move down ! I then started to explain what I had come for she interjected with ‘you need Minor injuries and then proceeded to give me directions Very quickly ! Maybe she had her own issues but as the first line of contact when you are worried and in pain I was really disappointed ! Fortunately once I arrived in the Minors injury unit My care was BRILLIANT x Thank you

They saw I was in pain (gall bladder attack). I was dealt with promptly. I was checked over, blood tests etc and given pain relief. I was given an ECG due to my low heart rate and low blood pressure. I was then offered a cubicle to lie down. It was about 2.30am.

Although the hospital was warm I would have appreciated a blanket. I was then waiting to see a dr. I didn’t realise that it would be several hrs. I was grateful for the help I received and the dr was great when he arrived. I didn’t want to sleep as I was waiting for the dr to come at any minute. I wish I had been told it probably wouldn’t be until after after 7am. I did drop in and out of sleep. Overall everyone was great.

Staff are fairly helpful but don't tell you much information. I was kept waiting for 12 hours and still didn't see a doctor. The blood and urine samples that were taken by A&E were never put on the system. So more blood had to be taken the next day by SAU. It seems such a waste of resources.

You could have taken blood and informed me no doctor was available, keeping some one awake all night is just unnecessary. I was told to go to A&E as I had pain come back from a kidney stone, and they were worried about infection or a blockage, and bad kidney function

Mel the ANP was incredible. Very professional, kind and caring. Treated my 2 year old quickly, answered my questions and responded appropriately to my concerns. Really good experience!
