I am profoundly deaf and find it difficult to hear my name being called in a busy environment. The was an electronic moving sign in the Department but it was witched off. It would have been easier for me if this sign had been working so that my name could appear when staff were ready for me.
The x-ray staff were particularly helpful knowing of my deafness.
The nurse practitioner was very helpful and understanding of my condition and I came away with exactly the right help for my presenting problem.
Altogether a very good experience.
