Extremely happy with the care that both me and my baby received while staying on ward C23 after birth. During the 2 days (1 night stay) the staff were really helpful with guidance, helping me adjust to becoming a mum and making sure that we both got all the checks needed after a long labour from the paediatricians/doctors before being discharged. My baby was very unsettled during his first night due to stress from my labour, the night staff were very kind and looked after him for a couple of hours near the desk so that I could get a couple of hours sleep as I was exhausted from being induced 3 days prior. I found the food to be very nice with lots of choices and the staff made sure that I was eating enough after having severe sickness during pregnancy, they often would sit next to me while talking to me and comforting the baby so that I could eat.
