I was told by my GP to attend the hospital my specialist would be waiting for me upon arrival, i was taken by ambulance and asked to sit in a waiting room full of people some with masks some without, I wear a mask all the time even though I don’t have to due to my immune system.
Not only did they not inform my specialist I was there, but I then had to wait 6hrs to see a ER
Doctor that had no idea of my situation or how to deal with it. She stood back away from me even though we both had masks on and asked me to remove my cannula myself!
