I am very very pleased with the care and attention the clinic has shown to me, very respectful, very caring in how I am feeling about the procedure I am about to be having. Explained everything very thoroughly to put your mind at rest. When the day came for my procedure, I was reassured again in what was going to be happening. Everything went perfect, a very calm atmosphere, and how I was feeling all through the procedure. Couldn’t wish for anything else. Even at the follow up appointment, it was all excellent. Thank you.

Very nice premises, it doesn't feel like a hospital and you don't get offered their nice coffee in the NHS! Unfortunately I had an allergic reaction to the surgical tape (not the steri-strips) which left skin blisters but I left them alone to heal and the scars can barely be seen now, 10 weeks later. I don't know if I had taken the bandages off sooner if it would have helped. The nurse said keep them on for a week, the doctor said two days in an email I read on day 4, but I think there was already an issue. However, the procedure itself was very successful, and I needed minimal treatment in the follow up just to tidy up, which is usual. All the staff were lovely, very friendly, putting me at ease.

I have had four varicose veins successfully treated at the The veincentre. Everyone at the clinic is friendly, helpful and kind. The clinic is spotless and well equipped with a WC, comfy sofas and tea/coffee for yourself and those who have come with you to drive you home after your appointment. There is ample parking and the clinic is easy to find and get to. This was important to me as if you are feeling stressed or nervous about the appointment it takes that bit of stress away. There is also a great garden centre with a great cafe right opposite. I highly recommend the Veincentre.

I was unable to get the help I needed from my GP surgery so I resorted to Google for the information and guidance I needed for the vein problems in my legs. The Veincentre reviews encouraged me to contact them by email and after sending them photos of my legs an initial appointment was made with their Colchester surgery. My husband and I were warmly welcomed by Lizzie on reception with hot tea and biscuits and in no time I was greeted by Nurse Jessica and asked to come and meet Dr. Mailli ( Jessica brought my tea for me!) Dr. Mailli explained what would be happening during this initial examination which included her taking notes of my full medical history, followed by a scan of both legs. Nothing was rushed, everything was clearly explained and I was keen to book my treatment appointment. My treatment visit went very well, the warmth of reception and feeling welcomed by ‘Team Colchester’ was very reassuring. The surgery is extremely clean and comfortable, with great care, consideration and professionalism shown to me throughout the procedure which was exactly as Dr Mailli had explained to me in my initial visit. I am now looking forward to my follow up appointment and am happy to say that I have had no serious discomfort since the procedure other than the bruising I was expecting. Veincentre Team Colchester - three lovely ladies who give a first class service in a happy and professional atmosphere. *****
