I was so impressed with my care and thorough investigation that I could hardly believe my good luck! Including reception, I was dealt with by five people, all of whom were very kind indeed and thorough, caring, and very professional. They spent 3 hours assessing me. So thorough!! I never felt rushed or a nuisance and thought the team worked extremely well together and genuinely wanted to help. I was dealt with by a lovely nurse, a young doctor, a physio and then the consultant. All fantastic. I came away confident that my condition may improve and if it doesn’t there, are options that may help. It’s great to have hope and confidence and to know help and advice is available from a great team. Thank you all very much indeed. You’re a credit to the NHS, which were so lucky to have in this country.

My physio listened to what I said, asked me lots of questions and explained everything she was doing. She sent me exercises to do at home and made me believe that I would recover.

Kind doctor and nurse, quick and effective care and service.

It would have been good to be able to get a more timely appointment as it took a month to get seen but I understand that isn’t always possible.

I was concerned about some responses from the physio. He said I had sciatica whereas I have a degenerative spine. I do nit gave sciatica pain. When I explained to the physio why my left leg suddenly stops working without warning he queried me saying there was no correspondence about that. He wanted to know if it had been witnessed. I suggested that the drivers in 4 lines of traffic at a major Windsor junction whose journey was held up by me crashing to the floor when my left leg refused to move as I was half way across a pedestrian crossing might have their views. I d The Dr and nurse were great as were the ad.in staff.

The physio was young and my experience of the NHS over the years has shown that they don't often think out of the box or think how they word their questions and statements. His first statement was that I had bn having physio on my neck in Jan 2021 and had not replied to a letter asking me to make an appt. 1. I have not attended Wexham physio, inly a local unit. 2. My neck is permanently painful. I would not have let anyone near it. 3 . Jan 2021 we were in lockdown.
