I was treated in A&E by Christine Wannis yesterday - I had pushed a green bin down a slope in the garden and fallen bashing one side of my face and cutting my lip. Christine treated me with the utmost respect checking my teeth and jaw then explaining exactly what needed to be done in a clear friendly manner. She injected my lip with anaesthetic and cleaned the wound carefully. She then put stitches in with great efficiency and afterwards explained that they would dissolve and how I should massage the scar when it's all healed. I felt very reassured being treated by Christine.
All other staff including a nurse called Becky were very caring and professional.
