I think having a home birth was the best choice I have ever made...
Also, it has been great being able to have all the post natal care at home too.
With my first child, I had to attend all those appointments at GP surgery or at the Royal London Hospital. Just getting out of bed those first few weeks after giving birth can be such an effort, and if you are struggling with breast feeding or pains or mental issues then having to attend this appointments can be very difficult. So i am very pleased with not having to leave the house for post natal care.
In addition to this, I would like to say that it is imperative that the mother educates herself in preparation for the labour - Spinning Babies is a great source for this
