Everything was great in terms of the hospital itself and how I was treated. I’m reluctant to recommend the hospital because of the parking facilities - but we don’t choose our place of appointments so the point of asking patients for recommendations seems invalid. The parking situation near out-patients is an absolute shocker. I was 45mins early and only managed to find a parking space 2mins before I was due to be seen. There was roughly 16-20 others driving around the same 2 car parks looking for spaces. I’m not local to Warwick itself, so was unaware of other public parking spaces to use and was anxious not to miss my appointment. I almost missed what turned out to be a very important appointment. The NHS is overwhelmed as it is and the cost of appointments is expensive, if I had missed mine due to the parking facilities the cost to the NHS would have been £128 plus the lack of treatment and care following a missed diagnosis. All because of parking. And how many others almost missed or actually did miss appointments due to the parking?
