Wonderful clarity in explaining treatment, timetable and possible side effects.
I'll always be grateful to Royal Marsden and all the staff because they save my life. Great care and treatment as a human being. However, I have to say that people who is in charge of canulas and blood tests doesn't have enough experience they find difficult to find the veins, beside on my annual CAT scan, the staff was behind more than 1.5 hour, 5 people waiting with canulas in-place and others as me being rushed to the CAT scan room 1.5 hour late by inexperienced staff to place a canula in a rush on the bed of the CAT scan with difficulties to find an vein. Another lady came and put me the liquid so fast that make me feel a knot on my stomach and nausea. When I told her she said they don't worry because I had not that problem before. Besides, although I booked my appointment one year before they gave me the appointment for the CAT scan one day before my appointment with the doctor.
Great care. Friendly and dedicated nursing staff. Very attentive. (Michelle and Katy were particularly great!)
The care has been consistently professional, kind and always beside me with support. Understanding and forgiving in very wobbly moments!
The care is very good. All the staff are caring and doing their best for their patients. The ward is busy and staff cope very well.
