The care is always great.
Care was 360° and excellent with great continuity/handovers etc.
Team mood always of the very best and humane.
BC ward sets the Gold standard and is an iconic beacon of good practices.
Very long wait to have blood taken, that is 2 hours. This is the longer i have ever waited, however this is the only aspect that could have been improved. Meeting with oncologist was good, warm friendly, informed. Shared the blood results that had come back and explained what would happen. These results that had yet to come back. Having continuity is goo that is, i have seen this oncologist on a number of occasions.
Treatment was brilliant staff were very caring.
Everyday was caring and friendly. Seen very quickly with continuous attention. Place exceptionally clean. All staff seemed motivated and on a mission. All rubbish disposed of quickly and easily.
Improvement - Capacity situation when requesting to be seen earlier in week. Slow return of calls when in pain and obviously scared.
I attend outpatients/day unit very regularly and have been treated with anything other than courtesy kindness and total professionalism.
All the staff constitute to making the MDU a soothing and peaceful place.
Care was first class. I would have like to access to a tea/coffee machine, rather than having to ask a nurse to make me a tea or coffee, as the staff have more important things to do.
Everyone courteous and kind.
