The high degree of professionalism, empathy and overall caring approach of all the radiotherapists, nurses and receptionists I came into contact with helped me cope with the treatment. I was able to just get on with it mainly because of them, but also the scope of the technology and science behind the treatment is staggering, so the realisation I was in the best hands was never far away.
