I am a 57 year old man with a history of back problems. I was admitted after spending several days on my floor.
I have 2 herniated discs and extensive arthritis in my spine. I cannot walk or stand unaided and I certainly cannot sit.
I was placed in an upright chair and left in triage.
I ended up on the floor, no one helped me. I phoned a friend and she helped me home.
BASIC BAD PRACTICE, NOONE WITH SPINAL INJURIES SHOULD BE PLACED ON A CHAIR.
