I am literally traumatised by the time I spent on Coll Ward at the Priory Glasgow. The staff were rude, unhelpful and borderline abusive. I was sworn at, told i was 'too fat to have an eating disorder' ad generally treated like a two year old. I spent 6 weeks on this ward and came home with a more severe ED to cope with how I was treated. 6 months on and I have daily nightmares about the experience - and to be clear - thats to because i'm resistant to ED treatment - It's because of the abusive nature of the treatment i was subjected to on Coll Ward, Priory Glasgow. Among other things - they waited 3 days to take me to A&E to have a piece of glass removed from my foot - having trod on it after a fellow patient threw it. Great hey! That sae afternoon I had another member of staff ask me why I was on the ward, as ;i didnt look underweight and ill'. Given that I was there from severe bulimia, before my heart gave out on me, I was quite offended by this. The following day, I had the displeasure of meeting the activities co-ordinator. She asked me THREE TIMES if i had come to the wrong session 'as i didnt look like the ED girls'. FFS!!! Horrid care provider.
