Left alone after major surgery without water and with unemptied sick bowls even though the staff knew I was really unwell after the anaesthetic. The night staff just didn't care and one even tutted when I rang the call system to ask for water and something to stop my sickness.
For the price this is shocking 'care'. I'd not advise anyone to choose this place.
This can only be described as an horrendous place, my son received a gastric bypass by these who never checked that he had ptsd mental health issues and addiction before carrying this out, since the operation he has been in and out of mental health units and numerous attempted suicides, now been made aware that this type of procedure cause addiction and mental health issues, who in there right mind would allow this procedure without checking on his health issue, my son is now beyond help and waiting on a phone call to say he has passed away because of this negligence, his brain has serious issues and no one can help as he is being Poisened with toxins,
Incredibly rude, unprofessional receptionist who was mid telephone conversation . After my 5 th visit I explained that I knew the way to the waiting g room after booking in. Two minutes later she stormed over and sent 2 minutes shouting in front of other patients.
Unnecessary, unprofessional and a unpleasant situation to be in.
I came to the pines a couple of Sundays ago with my 18 year old daughter who was having an operation. Neither of us could fault the experience. Both of us were treated very professionally and friendly by all members of staff. The care given by Shirin and Clare was exceptional during her stay. My daughter was in a private room which was light and airy and very clean. She even told me that the soup which she ordered was the best she’s ever had! My daughter is healing nicely thanks to the care that was given. Thank you so much.
I got top surgery at the Pines, couldn't be happier with the care I recieved. Everyone from the receptionists to nurses to surgical team were lovely and supportive. I felt completely safe to talk about any worries and was very at ease.
I had top surgery here and was treated with dignity and respect the whole time.
Dr Ntanos and all the nursing staff were lovely and kind and dealt well with me being terrified of needles, IVs and having my blood taken
I couldn’t be happier with the care I received at The Pines Hospital. Despite it being my first time staying at a hospital, I felt safe and cared for because of the brilliant staff. My identity was respected, I was repeatedly made aware of the details of my operation and most importantly the menu options were great!
On 30th November I had my gallbladder removed, as I’m 60 years old I was very apprehensive it now 10 days later I am feeling so well
I would like to say a big thank you to Mr Madhok and all the fantastic staff at the pines hospital.
Kind regard Mrs Blackie
Everything was efficient and the people were friendly. The only thing I would mention is the pictures on the walls are a little jarring. They are all of very normatively attractive people, which felt odd because I was there to do something outside the norm (top surgery). Just something to consider next time the place is decorated.
I had top surgery here with Dr Ntanos in July 2023. I felt well looked after and listened to by the nurses. I was in over night so had my own room which was surprisingly spacious with it's own bathroom. I can't comment on the food as I was too ill from the anesthetic to eat it unfortunately but they had a good selection on the menu. This was the first and only private hospice been to so I don't have anything to compare it to but I would highly recommend it
